The "MODEROID" model kit series, launched by Japan's MECHA SMILE brand, recently unveiled the in-development prototype of "Mazinsaga", a new work from "Mazinsaga" currently under development, with a release date yet to be determined.
Go Nagai's manga "Mazinsaga (マジンサーガ)" adopted some settings from the "Mazinger Z" series, re-creating them into an independent sci-fi work with a unique worldview that incorporates psychic elements. The protagonist, Koji Kabuto, similarly faced the destiny of fighting against Emperor God Hell (Dr. Hell), but the weapon he wielded was not the super robot "Mazinger Z". Instead, by using the 'Super Psychic Substance Z' to envelop his body in God's Armor "Z", he transforms into Mazinsaga, capable of freely changing his physique.
The "MODEROID Mazinsaga" is the first model kit product to feature God's Armor "Z". It utilizes precise sculpting to recreate its powerful physique, while also incorporating articulated mechanisms in all its joints, allowing for dynamic battle poses with the sword at its waist.
