Japanese model manufacturer MEGAHOUSE's transformable action figure series "VARIABLE ACTION" has announced its latest product from the OVA "Future GPX Cyber Formula SAGA," the "AL-ZARD NP-1," with a suggested retail price of 27,280 JPY, slated for release in December 2024!

The racing car AL-ZARD NP-1, developed by Kyoshiro Nagumo with support from the AOI Foundation, is an improved and simplified version based on the Ogre AN-21. It features a rare metal transformation mechanism and stable four-axis, eight-wheel drive. The model driven by Phil Fritz is equipped with a bio-computer that can forcibly control the racer via pulse currents, requiring the driver to take "α nerve agents" to suppress fear and achieve unparalleled speed and functionality.

The "VARIABLE ACTION AL-ZARD NP-1" is crafted at approximately 1/24 scale, with a total length of about 23 cm. It faithfully recreates the #6 car markings driven by Phil, but presented in a darker, deeper color scheme, giving the sharp and streamlined body an even more sinister feel! The metallic paint finish creates a refined sense of realism, with authentic detailing on the various markings, intake nozzles, turbo fans, and tail wing lines. Through part replacement, it can transform from Circuit mode to Aero mode.
