Yesterday (3rd), the Danish toy company LEGO announced the next new product in its "Ideas" series, which transforms creations by amateur LEGO fans into official products and features an incredibly diverse range of themes: "21350 Jaws"! It is scheduled for release on August 1, 2024, with a suggested retail price of US$159.99.

The original concept for this "Jaws" set was designed by Northern Irish LEGO fan Jonny Campbell. He used a total of 1860 pieces to construct it, building the boat and the massive shark Bruce to minifigure scale. The officially commercialized version has 1497 pieces, with the biggest differences from the original design being the construction and color scheme of the "Orca" boat. The shark's lines are also more natural, and a more thematic black display base has been added, showcasing the thrilling scene of the great white shark in hot pursuit of the shark-hunting boat, reaching a total length of 59 cm! The movie line "You're gonna need a bigger boat" is also printed on it.

▼ If you want to display the entire great white shark properly, you can also use an additional base.

▼ There are also three minifigures: Chief Brody, Matt Hooper, and Quint. Both the printing on the torso pieces and the facial expressions are excellent! Especially Matt Hooper's hat & hair piece, which is incredibly lifelike.

▼ This set not only boasts excellent display potential, but the interior details of the Orca are also not to be underestimated.
