PROOF Co., Ltd. (プルーフ), dedicated to developing and producing high-quality collectible toy models, has announced another new product alongside "2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B) -Exploration-" for the "NieR:Automata Ver1.1a" theme: the "9S (YoRHa No.9 Type S) -Scouting-" 1/7 scale pre-painted figure. The suggested retail price is 27,720 JPY, with an anticipated release in January 2025!
The TV anime "NieR:Automata Ver1.1a," which began airing in 2023, is produced by A-1 Pictures and adapted from "NieR:Automata," a spin-off of the "Drakengard" series developed by PlatinumGames and published by Square Enix. One of the three main protagonists, YoRHa No.9 Type S (or 9S for short), is a hacking-type scanner reconnaissance android whose primary duty is to research combat missions as a hacker. He is kind and curious, making him one of the more emotionally expressive individuals among the YoRHa androids.
This "9S (YoRHa No.9 Type S) -Scouting-" 1/7 scale pre-painted figure also stands approximately 31 cm tall, capturing 9S in a confident pose atop twisted H-beams. The intricate detailing extends from the rigid texture of his boots and the wrinkles of his clothing all the way to his fingertips. His dedicated weapon, "Cruel Oath," is faithfully recreated behind him. Furthermore, an interchangeable head sculpt without the goggles is included, allowing collectors to switch between two distinct looks for display!
