The character figure brand S-FIRE (エスファイア), planned and produced by Japanese game company SEGA, has officially announced its latest product from "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time": the "Rei Ayanami Long Hair Version" (綾波レイ ロングヘアVer.) 1/7 scale PVC painted finished product! It is scheduled for release starting July 2025, with a suggested retail price of 19,800 JPY (tax included).

You can never have too many long-haired Rei Ayanami figures! This S-FIRE three-dimensional rendition of Rei Ayanami stands approximately 11.8 cm tall, capturing a beautiful sitting pose with her left leg bent and her head turned, smiling. Her floor-length blue hair, sculpted with natural curls, delicately conveys the flow of each strand. Every detail of her plugsuit and the wrinkles created by her movement are meticulously carved, while shadow painting is also used to enhance the overall realism. The rounded lines of her chest and hips perfectly convey the snug fit of the plugsuit! The depiction of her eyes and her faint smile also capture Rei Ayanami's ethereal quality, conveying a gentle emotion as if Rei is waiting for Shinji.
