The highly popular "ULTIMATE LUMINOUS" series, released by Bandai's GASHAPON division, recently announced its latest product from the Ultraman Series: "Ultraman Arc" (ウルトラマンアーク)! It is scheduled for release in January 2025, with a suggested retail price of 4,500 JPY (tax included).
Since K-DAY (Kaiju Day) 16 years ago, when monsters simultaneously appeared across the globe, kaiju disasters have become a part of daily life. In Japan, in addition to the "Earth Defense Force" which subdues monsters with military might, there is also "SKIP," the Scientific Investigation Agency for Kaiju Disaster Prevention, dedicated to preventing and mitigating kaiju disasters. The protagonist of this story, "Yuma Hishiki," is a new member of SKIP with extensive knowledge of monsters. While SKIP was investigating the cosmic parasitic organism "Utsu" from a monster's horn, they were suddenly attacked by a monster. In the nick of time, Yuma connected with "Lution" (ルティオン), a messenger of light from a distant galaxy, transforming into a mysterious giant who protects humanity!
"ULTIMATE LUMINOUS Ultraman Arc" stands approximately 13 cm tall. It faithfully recreates Ultraman Arc's classic battle-ready pose based on the in-show design. In addition to meticulously restoring the head with its cosmic dart elements, the color timer, and the robust chest and abdominal muscle contours, the red and silver main body is also carefully sculpted to show the wrinkles in the suit caused by movement. Not only can the eyes and chest color timer display a shining visual effect using the luminous light unit, but replacement hand parts can also be used to recreate the special move, Arc Finalize (アークファイナライズ).
