BANDAI SPIRITS Company's HOBBY Division in Japan, which offers the most diverse range of 1/144 scale Gunpla in the 'HG (High Grade)' series, today announced the new product "HG 1/144 Begilbeu Torush (Kenanji Team / Olcott Team)" (tentative name) from the official side story "Mobile Suit Gundam The Witch from Mercury Vanadis Heart", scheduled for release in October 2024. This product will be sold exclusively on BANDAI's official online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
The CEK-043 Begilbeu Torush (tentative name) is a specification modified by Grassley Defense Systems based on the Begil-Beu, specialized for operation in Earth environments. After deployment to Earth, it was assigned to the Kenanji Team and Olcott Team of the Dominicus Corps, each equipped with different head units. This mobile suit also features "Counter Wave" equipment capable of interfering with the Permet Score of GUND-ARM type mobile suits. Large hover units have been added to the waist to enhance mobility in power-intensive environments, and the large leg armor incorporates thrusters and claw functions.
The "HG 1/144 Begilbeu Torush (Kenanji Team / Olcott Team)" (tentative name) is based on the previously released Begil-Beu kit, modified with new parts to recreate the distinct head designs for each team, newly designed large hover units, and leg armor styling. Users can choose to swap the head units.
For weaponry, it retains the Begil-Beu's beam saber and the beam gun parts mounted on the left arm, and also includes a newly sculpted beam rifle. The large hover units feature multi-directional articulation, allowing the beam saber hilts to be stored in the wing sections. The spheres that emit "Counter Waves" can also be deployed in multiple directions via multi-axis mechanical arms. The large leg armor features an expansion mechanism, allowing for the recreation of the internal thrusters and claws.
