TAKARA TOMY's toy brand T-ARTS in Japan is releasing a new gashapon product based on the popular Pixar animation "Monsters, Inc." – the "Monsters, Inc. Hi! High-Five Figures" gashapon. The suggested retail price is 400 JPY per capsule, with an anticipated release in July 2024!
The "Hi! High-Five Figures" (Hi!たっちふぃぐ) series allows characters to be displayed individually in a "Hi" greeting pose, or two figures can be combined to form a high-five pose! This time, popular characters from "Monsters, Inc." join the Hi! High-Five lineup, featuring four types: Sulley, Mike Wazowski, Boo, and Randall. The character designs are reinterpreted in an adorable style, allowing for dynamic poses that look like both greetings and high-fives. Notably, clever details include Boo standing on a lunch takeout box because she's not tall enough, and Randall extending his tail for a high-five. It seems you'll need to get an even number of capsules to make them high-five!
