Japan's PLEX Co., Ltd. (株式会社プレックス), under its "Dragon Ball Arise" series based on the popular anime "Dragon Ball," has launched its latest product, the "Cell Second Form" PVC pre-painted figure! The suggested retail price is 30,800 JPY, with an estimated release in September 2024.
Cell is one of the classic villains from the Android Saga in "Dragon Ball Z." He is the perfect android created by Dr. Gero, who collected body cells from various elites such as Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and Frieza using mechanical bees. He possesses Namekian regeneration abilities, the Saiyan ability to greatly increase power after recovering from near-death, and other powers. He can also absorb life forms through his needle-tipped tail to gain energy.
The "Dragon Ball Arise Cell Second Form" PVC pre-painted figure stands approximately 33 cm tall, faithfully recreating his semi-perfect form after absorbing Android 17. It accurately reproduces features such as the trypophobia-inducing spots, thick lips, and robust tail, with a fearless smile on his face! Purchases made through the online store ZEEM will include a limited bonus: Cell's larva.
