Japan's toy brand PLEX Company's "JUMBO SOFT VINYL FIGURE" series is launching a new product based on "Grendizer U" – a large-sized soft vinyl figure of "Grendizer" (グレンダイザー). The suggested retail price is 49,500 JPY, and it is expected to be released in November 2024!
The TV anime "Grendizer U" (グレンダイザー U), which officially premiered this month, is produced by GAINA Company. It is a reboot of the TV anime "Grendizer" (グレンダイザー), originally broadcast from 1975 to 1977 and created by Go Nagai. Mitsuo Fukuda directs, Yoshiyuki Sadamoto handles character design, and Ichiro Okouchi is in charge of planning. The announcement of the production staff and voice cast previously generated considerable discussion!
This time, the protagonist robot Grendizer Jumbo Soft Vinyl Figure stands at an astonishing 64 cm tall. It is crafted using 3D sculpting technology and soft PVC, featuring simple articulation at joints like the shoulders and wrists, faithfully recreating Grendizer's upgraded cool design from "Grendizer U"! The paintwork uses metallic paint to showcase the texture of its metallic shell. The meticulous sculpting and painting even extend to the soles of its feet. Its super large size ensures a powerful presence even when placed in a room corner!
