American toy brand SUPER7 has unveiled a series of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed products set to be released at the "Mikey's Pizza" pop-up event during San Diego Comic Con (SDCC)! Following the "Pizza Chef Mikey," we're excited to show all toy enthusiasts another new item from the "ULTIMATES!" action figure series—the "Pizza Party Wagon" 7-inch action figure vehicle model!
If there's one of the four pizza-loving turtles most likely to open a pizza shop, it would undoubtedly be the pizza-obsessed Michelangelo! This time, SUPER7 is hosting the "Mikey's Pizza" pop-up event at local San Diego pizza shop "TNT Pizza," envisioning Michelangelo, the pizza fanatic, opening his own pizza restaurant and launching several new pizza-themed products!
The "Pizza Party Wagon" is a modified version based on the "Turtle Van" vehicle model, which was released as a Made-To-Order item in 2022. Although its original price of $450 received some backlash from many collectors, buyer feedback after actual shipment was quite positive, praising its rich details and Easter eggs, and its ability to actually accommodate multiple 7-inch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures, allowing for various dynamic, scene-like displays inside! This new version transforms the classic yellow-green Turtle Van body into a pizza delivery vehicle with Italian flag red, white, and green colors. The doors are printed with common two-tone checkered stripes found on pizza boxes and the "Mikey's Pizza" LOGO. The detailed painted seats and interior, originally orange, have been changed to green, and the four tires are designed to be fitted with accessories to transform into pizza shapes. The fun appearance and modifications perfectly align with this pizza theme!
Measuring approximately 50.8 cm (20 inches) long, it can accommodate 6 ULTIMATES! series action figures at once, retaining the play features of the original version. It also comes with two pizza boxes, eight slices of pizza (four of each of two flavors), and a boombox that matches the white and green color scheme of the Pizza Party Wagon, allowing toy enthusiasts to combine it with previously released ULTIMATES! series TMNT figures for play and display, starting a fun pizza party!
Toy enthusiasts unable to attend SDCC need not despair! The official announcement states that in addition to being available at the pop-up event, this item will also be released in limited quantities on the SUPER7 official website on July 29th, US time. Don't miss the chance to order online!
