Hong Kong toy brand POSE+'s new alloy action figure series "METAL HEAT" follows up its initial release of "Getter 1 Armageddon Ver." with the announcement of the second entry in the series, also themed after "Getter Robo Armageddon"—the "Getter 2 (Armageddon ver.)" alloy action figure. It has a suggested retail price of 27,500 JPY and is expected to be released in December 2024!
The "METAL HEAT" series figures stand approximately 20 cm tall, emphasizing reasonable pricing while maintaining high poseability alongside the exquisite sculpting of alloy figures. The name "HEAT" is an acronym formed from the initial letters of four key selling points of the series: "Hybrid" (H), combining anime styling with abundant accessories; "Extended Action" (EA), for high poseability; and "Team-up" (T), for collecting companions from the series. This aims to create high-quality alloy figures that combine sculpting, articulation, and character collection for players!
Released in 1998, "Getter Robo Armageddon" was the first OVA work in the "Getter Robo" series. The "Getter 2 (Armageddon ver.)" alloy action figure, standing approximately 21 cm tall, faithfully recreates Getter 2's in-show proportions using plastic and alloy. It can switch between TV and OVA versions by exchanging left and right hand parts. The paintwork on the body presents the high-quality texture of a metallic shell. The shoulders feature a pull-out triple-expansion structure, the elbows are double-jointed, and the thigh roots also have pull-out joints, allowing for a forward articulation range of 120 degrees, similar to Getter 1. Coupled with the chest's rotating axis and pull-out double joints, it can extensively reproduce Getter 2's various combat poses!
Accessories include four drill effect parts and numerous invasion effect parts, which can be combined and wrapped around the drill to recreate its in-show appearance. The three-stage dynamic thruster jet effect parts also allow you to change and adjust visual intensity according to your display needs! Furthermore, this release also includes a base effect and corresponding waist connection parts, allowing you to replace the waist joint and connect it to the base to display Getter 2 in a powerful scene bursting from the ground!
