BANDAI SPIRITS' immensely popular "Ichiban Kuji" (Ichibankuji) series, where every draw wins a prize, will release new merchandise themed after the popular anime and manga series "Kaiju No. 8"—the "Kaiju No. 8 Part 2." The reference price is 790 JPY per draw, and it is scheduled to launch on October 12, 2024!
"Kaiju No. 8" is a manga series created by Japanese manga artist Naoya Matsumoto, serialized on the web manga platform "Shonen Jump+." In 2024, it was adapted into an anime series by Production I.G. The story follows Kafka Hibino, who works for a kaiju corpse clean-up company, as he unexpectedly gains the ability to transform into the powerful "Kaiju No. 8" and rekindles his dream of fighting various kaiju in the Defense Force.
Following the previous "Kaiju No. 8 Part 1," which featured figures of Kafka and Reno among other prizes, this "Kaiju No. 8 Part 2" once again offers prizes of different tiers, including A-F, the Last One Prize, and the Double Chance Prize. Currently, the figures for the A, B, Last One, and Double Chance Prizes have been revealed ahead of time. These are Soshiro Hoshina for Prize A, Kikoru Shinomiya for Prize B, and Soshiro Hoshina Last One Ver. for both the Last One Prize and Double Chance Prize.
