World-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer HOT TOYS today (17th) announced several new products that will be exclusively available at the Hong Kong Ani-Com & Games 2024. This article will introduce the ARTISAN EDITION「The Joker (Batman Imposter version)」1/6th scale collectible figure, inspired by "The Dark Knight"! This item is expected to have an initial release of 100 sets available for immediate purchase at the Ani-Com & Games venue, with an additional 400 sets open for pre-order. The 400 sets pre-ordered at the venue are expected to ship in Q3-Q4 2024, with a suggested retail price of HKD 2,880.
Based on the cinematic classic Prince of Crime, Heath Ledger's Joker, this Artisan Edition Joker (Batman Imposter version) breaks the boundary between Batman and the Joker. It violently sprays the Joker's signature purple and green paint, symbolizing his madness, onto the surface of the dark Bat-suit. Grenades can be attached to the tattered purple cape, and the blood-like red Batman logo conveys an atmosphere of chaos immersed in the criminal underworld.
The head sculpt features a new paint application, rooted wool hair technology, and movable eye design, recreating the Joker's twisted smile and exaggerated makeup from the film. Accessories include a machine gun, shotgun, pistol, three Batarangs, eight grenades, playing cards, multiple interchangeable hands, and a specially designed base featuring a red Batman logo, echoing the character.
