Tiger of Kai (Takeda Shingen)
Height: 18.7 m
Power Source: Psycho-Resonance Engine
Power Specification: Psycho-Energy Reactor with a concentration of one ten-thousandth molar
A close-combat psycho-mech developed by collecting the spiritual particles of the Sengoku daimyo, Takeda Shingen, as its reactor core. It belongs to the Yamasakura Group of the Far East Branch, Asia-Pacific Theater. As the second unit developed under the Talos Project for the Far East Branch, it is deployed in battles against alien polluters!
Total parts exceed 400, main body approximately 20 cm! Accessories include the Battle Axe Genzaemon Kai, Odachi Akazonae Genshiro, Uchigatana Toratsuna, 5 pairs of hand parts, hand part storage unit, metal base and stand, magnetic nameplate, mysterious gift box, and more!
Currently, the finished toys or models from mainland China, regardless of price or quality, are indeed directly threatening brand-name toys produced in Japan... The Tiger of Kai introduced this time was actually covered before in its Ultimate Grade version. Its appearance, especially its cost-performance ratio, has already crushed many competitors! And this time, the scaled-down Elite Grade, at a price of around HKD 300, can certainly be said to have completely overturned the entire toy market's perception of die-cast finished toys!
If I were to compare it with similar types of toys, I would directly use Bandai's Metal Robot Spirits. The Elite Grade simply adds light-up effects, a magnetic base, and so on... The main body's appearance and craftsmanship are extremely detailed. In terms of QC, honestly, it's really better than Bandai's! Articulation is also on par with Metal Robot Spirits, and it has a higher proportion of die-cast components. However, I'm not a die-cast enthusiast, so die-cast fans can add points for themselves! Additionally, the joint tightness is very well adjusted, and the weapons and interchangeable hand accessories are also very abundant. But the most terrifying thing is indeed its price... The product quality at HKD 300 is actually better than a Metal Robot Spirits costing over a thousand dollars... If factors like IP are excluded, I completely don't understand how their costs are calculated... The mysterious gift box is the main course! Whether you can get a limited two-color Tiger of Kai for free depends on your luck! However, I'm also extremely interested in the other head sculpt... I believe Moshow will launch more similar products in the future. And the Tiger of Kai has also announced two other color variations; as long as they aren't convention exclusives, collecting them all won't affect your quality of life!
With this quality and price, I truly have nothing to criticize; it is definitely one of D.M.S. 2024's Top Ten Best Buys! See the pictures for yourselves; there's nothing more to add. The Knight of the Lake, Dragon of Echigo, and other Ancestral Effect mechs are believed to be released soon in Elite Grade specifications. I would gladly pay an extra HKD 100 for the price! Just wait and see!
