Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd.'s Gashapon division's popular "Machibouke" (Waiting) series will release a new product based on the classic anime "Hamtaro" – the "Hamtaro Waiting" Gashapon. The suggested retail price is 300 JPY per capsule, scheduled for release in the fourth week of July 2024!
"Hamtaro" is a manga series created by Ritsuko Kawai, adapted into a TV anime by TMS Entertainment in 2000. It tells the interesting daily life of Hamtaro, a curious hamster owned by fifth-grader Roko Haruna, and the pet hamster friends he meets in his new environment after moving! This time, Hamtaro will join the popular "Waiting" series. Each figure is approximately 4 cm tall, depicting popular characters from the series sitting and waiting. Four types will be released: Hamtaro, Bijou, Boss, and Maxwell. Each character holds their favorite sunflower seed to their chest, while Boss holds his construction helmet. Their adorable, pitiful, watery eyes with a brushstroke style are just too cute!
