World-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys today (22nd) announced on social media a series of products to be released at the Hong Kong Ani-Com & Games Fair this weekend. This article will now introduce a new Star Wars-themed product: the "Darth Vader Battle Damaged Version" 1/6th scale collectible figure. It will be available in a regular version and a deluxe version, with suggested retail prices of HKD 2,380 and HKD 2,780 respectively!
This "Darth Vader (Battle Damaged Version)" 1/6th scale collectible figure depicts Darth Vader in a fierce battle, heavily scarred. The regular version includes a fully exposed head sculpt and a Darth Vader helmet. The deluxe version will additionally include a Darth Vader helmet that is half-destroyed by a lightsaber, similar to the one seen in the "Obi-Wan Kenobi" series. High-quality paintwork and sculpting craftsmanship recreate Anakin's scarred and rough skin texture. The eyes are articulated, allowing for adjustments to the gaze according to display needs. The tattered Darth Vader suit, broken shoulder armor, battle-damaged design revealing the left side of his torso, exposed electronic mechanisms, and bare mechanical arm are all visually stunning!
The lightsaber accessory and the electronic devices on Darth Vader's body feature LED light-up functions. In addition to the broken helmet, the deluxe version will also include a set of non-articulated plastic cape parts. The flowing dynamic greatly enhances the overall visual effect. From the front, one can even vaguely discern the silhouette of Darth Vader's half-face formed by the cape. This ingenious design is truly awesome!
