Following the previous "Kaiju No. 9" and "Kikoru Shinomiya," TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectibles division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS, has once again released a new product from the "Kaiju No. 8" series under its S.H.Figuarts action figure brand: the "Soshiro Hoshina" action figure. It has a suggested retail price of 8,800 JPY and is scheduled for release in December 2024!
Soshiro Hoshina is the Vice-Captain of the Third Division. After Hibino failed the exam, Hoshina recruited him into the Defense Force's Third Division as a cadet. When wearing his combat suit, his released combat power reaches an impressive 92%. He hails from a family of kaiju exterminators that has continued since the Muromachi period. His signature weapons are two sabers, and he specializes in dealing with small to medium-sized kaiju. He displayed astonishing combat prowess when he first confronted Hibino, who had transformed into Kaiju No. 8!
This S.H.Figuarts Soshiro Hoshina stands approximately 14 cm tall, faithfully recreating Vice-Captain Hoshina's appearance in the series wearing his Cloud Technology combat suit. The figure meticulously captures the suit's design and wrinkle details, cleverly combining them with highly articulated S.H.F joints. Along with his signature dual swords, a head sculpt with dynamic flowing hair, three different facial expressions, and interchangeable hand parts, the figure can recreate Vice-Captain Hoshina's mighty presence during kaiju extermination!
This release also includes a special facial expression part for Kaiju No. 8!
