Japan's KADOKAWA company's (KADOKAWA) figure brand "KDcolle" will release a new product based on the tear-jerking masterpiece "Angel Beats!" — the "Kanade Tachibana School Swimsuit Ver." 1/7 scale pre-painted figure, with a suggested retail price of 21,780 JPY, scheduled for release in January 2025!
"Angel Beats!" (エンジェルビーツ) is an anime production jointly created by game development company Key and Aniplex, with tear-jerking scriptwriter Jun Maeda serving as the general director. It tells the story of a group of boys and girls who died prematurely for various reasons and arrive in a high school campus that is a world solely for the deceased and spirits. There, they maintain normal lives, experience the youth they never had the chance to live, and move towards the afterlife.
This "Kanade Tachibana School Swimsuit Ver." 1/7 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 23 cm tall. It depicts the work's heroine NPC, "Angel" Kanade Tachibana, wearing (?) a school swimsuit and holding a transparent swim ring while standing on the beach. The prototype meticulously sculpts Kanade's beautiful body curves, using PVC to render the soft skin of her petite figure. Although it's a school swimsuit design, the *sukumizu* has actually slipped down to her thighs, with key areas covered by her translucent hair and a pink swim ring. This subtly revealing appearance creates a strong contrast with Kanade's pure gaze!
