Japanese toy brand Kaiyodo announced exciting news today (26th)! The popular protagonist of "One-Punch Man", "Saitama" (サイタマ), is set to join their highly articulated "AMAZING YAMAGUCHI (アメコミヤマグチ)" action figure series, with a display at Wonder Festival 2024 [Summer] on July 28, 2024.
Saitama, the male protagonist and power ceiling of "One-Punch Man", was originally an ordinary person. After three years of arduous training (100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, 10 km running daily, and no air conditioning), he gained an invincible, super-strong power! Although he lost all his hair, he can defeat any enemy with just "one punch".
The "AMAZING YAMAGUCHI Saitama" currently revealed by Kaiyodo features a serious expression, indicating his 'Serious Mode'. The figure reinterprets Saitama's red and yellow battle suit with the series' distinctive joint design and body segmentation technology. The white cape is made of fabric with an embedded wire, allowing it to be bent and greatly enhancing the dynamic poses of Saitama-sensei! Even the S-shaped pose in the official images looks incredibly cool; we look forward to the full announcement.
