Max Factory, a Japanese model manufacturer, has officially announced today the latest product from their popular 'figma' action figure series, 'Ganondorf Tears of the Kingdom ver.', based on 'The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom', scheduled for release in June 2025.
Ganondorf is the male born once every hundred years among the all-female Gerudo tribe, possessing the right to become the King of the Gerudo. However, the tyrant Ganondorf dislikes peace; ambitious, extremely arrogant, and ruthless, he sought to invade the Kingdom of Hyrule, ruled by the first king Rauru. He can manipulate the dark energy 'Gloom' that corrodes all things in battle, and even after assassinating Queen Sonia, he seized the power of her 'Secret Stone' to become his true Demon King form.
'figma Ganondorf Tears of the Kingdom ver.' is produced at the same scale as 'figma Link Tears of the Kingdom ver.', meticulously sculpting his muscular physique and samurai-inspired Gerudo attire at an approximate height of 19 cm. Color applications and printing are used to faithfully reproduce the patterns on various parts of his clothing and his golden accessories.
Each joint utilizes original figma series joint parts, combined with precise articulation divisions to provide extremely flexible poseability. The head can be swapped with three expression parts: 'normal face', 'shouting face', and 'provocative face'. It also comes with a rich array of weapon accessories, including the 'Gloom Sword', 'scabbard', 'Gloom Spear', 'Demon King's Bow', 'Gloom effect parts', and 'arrows', allowing you to equip various weapons and recreate his active appearance during the final battle!
