BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan business division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., recently showcased a prototype of its latest release from the Ultraman tokusatsu series, "Space Robot King Joe," for its popular assembly model Shokugan series "SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT." The release date is yet to be determined.

The classic rival from Ultraseven, "Space Robot King Joe," is a super robot built by the Pedan aliens. Constructed from ultra-high-strength cosmic alloy, it can deploy a full-body defense barrier, rendering Ultraman Seven's attacks almost ineffective and putting him in a tough battle. King Joe also possesses powerful combat abilities and a potent destructive beam. The entire unit can separate into four UFOs, each capable of flight and underwater travel. Its only discernible weakness is its inability to get back up once knocked down. It was finally defeated with the "Raidon R30 Bomb," developed with the assistance of Pedan scientist Dr. Dorothy.

"SMP Space Robot King Joe" not only recreates its classic in-show appearance as an articulated assembly model but also features a separation and combination mechanism, allowing it to recreate the four separated UFOs from its original design by swapping some parts.
