The alloy model "AMAKUNI KISHIN" series, a collaboration between Japan's HobbyJapan company's model brand AMAKUNI and Sentinel, recently showcased the latest developing prototype of the first product in its transformable and combinable spin-off series "AMAKUNI Super Machine God", "Genesic Gaogaigar". The release date is still undecided.
The new series "AMAKUNI Super Machine God" is an enhanced version based on the "AMAKUNI KISHIN" series released in 2020. Previous products were jointly developed by AMAKUNI and Sentinel, with mechanical designer Toshinao Miyauchi in charge of product design, creating cool finished models using composite materials such as alloy parts and ABS. However, the absence of the original transformation and combination mechanism left many feeling a bit disappointed. Therefore, the renowned toy design team T-REX was once again invited to redesign the transformation and combination mechanism for the first product, "Genesic Gaogaigar".
"AMAKUNI Super Machine God Genesic Gaogaigar" is based on Toshinao Miyauchi's prototype files and features a complete transformation and combination mechanism that requires no part swapping. This includes Galeon and the five Genesic Machines, all capable of reverting to their pre-combination forms. This time, the previously unrevealed Galeon "Genesic Gaigar Form" was newly exhibited, showcasing a cool body proportion maintained even after transformation.
