Japan's PLEX company, produced by and X-PLUS company, distributed by, recently announced the latest product from "Ultraman Mebius", "ULTRA NEW GENERATION Ultraman Mebius Ver.2", slated for release in November 2024. This finished figure is part of the "Daikaiju Series", which features heroes and monsters from Japanese tokusatsu works.
Ultraman Mebius is a young warrior from Nebula M78, the Land of Light. After joining the revered Space Garrison, he was tasked by Father of Ultra to defend Earth, and assumed the human form of Mirai Hibino to join the defense organization "CREW GUYS JAPAN". Though Mebius, mentored by Ultraman Taro, learned many similar combat techniques, he was still a rookie. It was only after receiving guidance from the Ultra Brothers and collaborating with his GUYS comrades that he gradually matured into a formidable warrior.
The "Daikaiju Series ULTRA NEW GENERATION Ultraman Mebius Ver.2", featuring a completely new sculpt, was sculpted by Nobuyuki Inagami, a renowned sculptor who has created numerous outstanding tokusatsu hero figures. At an impressive height of approximately 24.5 cm, it showcases Mebius's powerful battle stance, meticulously recreating the head composed of complex curves and planes, the unique Color Timer and chest design, as well as the intricate muscle lines and the wrinkles mimicking his leather suit across his entire body.
Furthermore, the limited edition sold at X-PLUS's official store "Shonen RIC" will include a special base with a light-up function. By powering the base with a USB Type-C cable and connecting it to the Mebius figure, both his eyes and Color Timer will illuminate!
