Following products like "Kenshiro" and "Shin & Heart," the articulated figure series "DIGACTION" from DIG, a toy brand under Japan's M.I.C. company, has once again announced its latest product from "Fist of the North Star": "DIGACTION Rei"! The suggested retail price is 5,500 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in November 2024.
Rei, one of the Nanto Roku Seiken's "Star of Justice," is the successor to Nanto Suichoken. He is a Nanto martial artist who embodies justice, possessing both a beautiful appearance and fighting style. While his martial arts movements are as elegant and graceful as a swan gliding on water, their power is incredibly formidable! He embarked on a journey to find his sister, who was abducted by "the man with seven scars on his chest." Initially mistaking Kenshiro for his enemy, he later clarified the misunderstanding and teamed up with Kenshiro to defeat the "Fang Clan." To repay Kenshiro's kindness, Rei decided to challenge Raoh, using the ultimate Nanto secret technique, Danki Sōsai Ken, intending to die alongside the King of Fists. However, he was instead struck by Raoh's secret point, Shinkesshu, leaving him with only three days to live...
The "DIGACTION Rei" figure exquisitely recreates Rei's classic appearance from the original work in a small 1/24 scale. Within its mere 8cm size, Rei's sharp expression, long hair, clothing wrinkles, armor, and powerful musculature are all well-rendered, especially the firm lines of his glutes! The heavy-feeling armor and pearlescent clothing add richness and depth to the overall presentation. With its fully articulated joint design, coupled with interchangeable shouting expression parts and various hand gestures, fans can enjoy recreating the magnificent techniques of Nanto Suichoken!
Stop fighting, if you want to fight, go to the dance studio to fight! (X)
