Brazilian statue manufacturer Iron Studios' "Art Scale 1/10" series will release its latest product from Marvel Comics—the "Wolverine 50th Anniversary Weapon X" 1/10 scale collectible statue, with a suggested retail price of US$189.99, scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2025!
The "Weapon X" storyline appeared in issues #72 to #84 of Marvel Comics Presents in 1991, recounting Logan's story during the government's secret military program "Weapon X," where his entire skeleton was bonded with Adamantium. After the transformation, Logan's extreme pain clashed with his mental programming, causing him to rampage like a beast, killing all the soldiers in the laboratory before disappearing into the woods. Logan was precisely the tenth super-weapon modified by the program, hence his alias "Weapon X," sharing the program's name.
This "Wolverine 50th Anniversary Weapon X" 1/10 scale collectible statue is part of the 50th-anniversary series commemorating Wolverine's debut in The Incredible Hulk series in 1974. It brings this classic chapter's iconic image to life using mixed media such as resin, PVC, and fabric! The statue stands approximately 18 cm tall, depicting Logan in an attack pose, standing atop various claw-marked laboratory instruments. Details such as his bulging veins and chest hair are exquisitely sculpted, and the cables binding his entire body convey his agony just by looking at them! It includes two interchangeable head sculpts: one with the electronic helmet and one without. The helmeted head sculpt features an open-mouthed roar, capturing the ferocious aura of his rampage as seen in the comics!
