Japanese toy company Good Smile Company's best-selling "Nendoroid" (ねんどろいど) series is scheduled to release Nendoroid figures of two supporting characters from the popular anime and manga series Golden Kamuy, which has concluded its serialization: "Lieutenant Koito" and "Sergeant Tsukishima". Both figures will be priced at 6,700 JPY and are slated for release in December 2024.

Golden Kamuy (ゴールデンカムイ), created by Japanese manga artist Satoru Noda, began serialization in Weekly Young Jump in 2014 and concluded in 2022, totaling 314 chapters. Four seasons of the anime have been released, with the final fifth season currently confirmed to be in production. Additionally, a live-action film starring Kento Yamazaki premiered in January 2024.
The story primarily follows Saichi Sugimoto, nicknamed "Immortal Sugimoto," who, after retiring from the military, travels to Hokkaido to prospect for gold, entrusted by a deceased friend to cure his wife Umeko's illness. While there, he is attacked by a bear and meets an Ainu girl named Asirpa. Learning of rumors about a massive hidden gold treasure, the two embark on a journey together. They later encounter Yoshitake Shiraishi, an escaped convict, and others, leading to a multi-faction battle for the gold.
Sergeant Tsukishima, whose real name is Hajime Tsukishima, serves as Lieutenant Tsurumi's capable right-hand man. He has a past where he was deceived by both his father and Lieutenant Tsurumi, which led him to his current military status. He is introverted and one of the few sane individuals in the army, devoid of extreme or fanatical thoughts and behaviors. While he appears to be fiercely loyal to Tsurumi, his true intention is to observe Tsurumi's ultimate goals and what he will do in the end, quietly watching everything unfold. After Tsurumi was gravely wounded and went missing in the final battle, Tsukishima assisted Lieutenant Koito in managing the 7th Division.

This Nendoroid of Sergeant Tsukishima faithfully recreates his military uniform from the original work. It comes with three interchangeable face plates: a neutral expression, an angry expression, and a questioned expression. His military cap is removable, revealing his smooth hairstyle. Accessories include his preferred Type 30 rifle and various interchangeable hand parts.

Lieutenant Koito, full name Otonoshin Koito, is a lieutenant in the Imperial Japanese Army's 7th Division and an officer from Satsuma. He is a master of the ancient sword art "Jigen-ryū," capable of overpowering even the protagonist Sugimoto in close combat. When agitated, he speaks entirely in the Satsuma dialect, and when happy, he rolls on the ground. Initially a devout follower of Lieutenant Tsurumi, he gradually came to understand Tsurumi's true intentions after numerous events. He expressed to his constant companion, Sergeant Tsukishima, his desire to witness everything until the very end alongside him. He survived the final train battle and succeeded Tsurumi in leading the 7th Division.

This Nendoroid of Lieutenant Koito also faithfully recreates his appearance from the anime, featuring his darker skin tone and linen military uniform. It comes with three interchangeable face plates: a smiling expression, a combat expression, and an excited expression. Accessories include his beloved military saber, which he excels at using, and a mirror for his moments of vanity.
