Hasbro, the renowned American toy manufacturer, has released a new product for its Marvel 6-inch action figure series, "Marvel Legends," featuring the 2016 film "Deadpool" – the "Colossus" 6-inch action figure! With a suggested retail price of US$39.99, it is now available for pre-order on the Hasbro Pulse official website and is expected to be released in November 2024!
Colossus first appeared in the comics in "Giant-Size X-Men" #1, published in 1975. He is an X-Men member from Russia, possessing the mutant ability to transform his massive body into organic steel. The Colossus who appeared in the 2016 film "Deadpool" was the first in the movie series to actually feature a Russian accent. His personality is stoic, righteous, and full of integrity, but he also tends to be a bit preachy, creating many amusing comedic moments due to his conflicting personality with Deadpool!
This Colossus action figure stands approximately 15 cm tall, crafted in the CGI likeness of Colossus wearing his black and red battle suit from the movie. The paintwork faithfully recreates the metallic texture of his powerful steel body, and he features 20 points of articulation throughout. Double joints at the elbows and knees allow for a wider range of dynamic poses. Accessories include an alternate head sculpt and a pair of alternate hands. This exemplary hero also comes with a replica of the X-Men Guide Book. From the product images, you can see the guide book printed with "Rule #1: Never kill anyone" and "Rule #2: Label everything that goes into the fridge," these humorous accessories perfectly capture Colossus's cool yet slightly goofy and amusing image from the film!
