Following the highly acclaimed 'Capture Squad', Japan's Bandai Gashapon division, GASHAPON, is once again featuring the popular game 'Monster Hunter' with an exciting new release: 'Monster Hunter Capture Squad 2'. This series includes 5 different types, with each gashapon priced at 500 JPY, and is scheduled to launch in late August 2024.
Conceived with the idea of capturing monsters, 'Monster Hunter Capture Squad 2' continues the features of the previous installment. At approximately 6 cm in size, the monsters are adorably three-dimensionalized in their defeated, sprawled-out poses! This wave adds five popular monsters, including: Rathalos, Tigrex, Nargacuga, Gore Magala, and one secret variant (possibly Rathian?). The intricate details of the monsters' scales and claws are meticulously sculpted, and the vibrant color application is splendidly executed. The bases feature a sandy terrain consistent with the game's world, making the monsters look pitiful yet cute as they lie there – ready for you to capture them all!
