Following "Kaiju No. 8" and "Soshiro Hoshina," S-FIRE, the popular brand under Japan's SEGA Games known for producing high-quality character figures and merchandise, has once again launched a new product based on the popular anime and manga series "Kaiju No. 8"—the "Kikoru Shinomiya" 1/7 scale pre-painted figure. It is priced at 27,500 JPY and is scheduled for release in April 2025!
"Kaiju No. 8" is a manga series created by Japanese manga artist Naoya Matsumoto on the online manga platform "Shonen Jump+." In 2024, it was adapted into an anime series by Production I.G and released on the streaming platform NETFLIX. Kikoru Shinomiya is the daughter of Defense Force Commander Isao Shinomiya and a prodigy who graduated early from the California Extermination University. She is known as a genius girl, achieving a liberation power of 46% the first time she wore a Defense Force combat suit. During the second phase of the Defense Force examination, Kikoru encountered a regenerated kaiju created by Kaiju No. 9. When she was in danger, Kafka, who had transformed into "Kaiju No. 8," arrived just in time to save her, and she has since developed feelings for him.
This "Kikoru Shinomiya" 1/7 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 30 cm tall. It captures Kikoru's appearance from the anime, depicting her in a combat suit made by Izumo Tech. She strikes a dashing pose, confidently smiling with her specialized weapon, the Impact Wave Great Axe, resting on her shoulder. Her flowing twin-tails add a dynamic sense to the overall visual. The paintwork also emphasizes the metallic texture of the great axe and the intricate details of her combat suit. The base features a rubble-strewn platform, presenting the image of a genius girl exuding powerful confidence amidst urban ruins!
Furthermore, this figure will also support the AR application "Play AR," allowing you to enjoy even more spectacular additional performance effects using the app's AR features!
