Bandai Toy Company's GASHAPON capsule toy division in Japan will release its latest product, "HG Ultraman: Realm of Terrifying Monsters," in the second week of August 2024, as part of the "HG" collection series, which injects intricate sculpting and vibrant colors into miniature sizes! The suggested retail price is 500 Japanese Yen per capsule, with a total of 5 types available for collection.
The Ultraman-themed HG collection series, known for its ultra-realistic details and ultra-precise coloring, allows you to collect various Ultraman heroes and monsters in palm-sized form. Not only does this enable battles to unfold anytime, anywhere on your desk, but it also entails relatively less space and financial pressure for collectors. For toy enthusiasts like me, who joined the Ultraman fandom relatively late, it truly feels like a long-lost treasure!
This latest "HG Ultraman: Realm of Terrifying Monsters" includes the "Original Ultraman," "Ultraman Orb Spacium Zeperion" which combines the powers of the original Ultraman and Ultraman Tiga, the Ultraman from "ULTRAMAN: RISING," and, echoing the product's title, two monsters that appeared in episode 3 of "The Return of Ultraman," titled "Realm of Terrifying Monsters": the Rock Monster "Sadlar" and the subterranean monster "Detton" (tentative translation, デットン), said to be Telesdon's younger brother. Beyond the meticulously sculpted wrinkles of the original Ultraman's suit and the exaggerated physique of the Ultraman: Rising version, the rough textures and ferocious expressions of the two monsters are also spectacular. A definite must-buy!
