BANDAI CANDY, the popular candy toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., today announced that the latest product from "Mobile Fighter G Gundam," the "Kowloon Gundam," will be released in December 2024 as part of their popular candy toy series "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA."
The Kowloon Gundam is the Mobile Fighter used by Master Asia, the Undefeated of the East, when he represented Neo Hong Kong in the 12th "Gundam Fight." While appearing to be covered in heavy armor, this mobile fighter possesses extremely outstanding mobility, capable of perfectly replicating Master Asia's martial arts movements. It can unleash various Master Asia-style techniques and the ultimate move "Super Homing Imperial Dragon," overpowering the Britain Gundam, which had won three consecutive championships using firearms, to claim the title. This victory also reignited the fervor for orthodox martial arts in the Gundam Fight.
Standing approximately 12 cm tall, the "G-FRAME FA Kowloon Gundam" recreates the ancient Chinese-style armor design with intricate details and color applications, while also maintaining a flexible range of motion thanks to its movable frame. It includes various interchangeable hand parts to replicate different stances of Master Asia's martial arts, including a pink glowing hand part for the illusory ultimate technique "Kowloon Palm," which has only appeared in external works.
The weapon accessories also include the "Cloth," the most iconic weapon of Master Asia's martial arts. It comes with three different white cloth parts and one beam cloth part to recreate dashing, attacking, and other poses. Additionally, there are replacement rear skirt armor parts that can be flipped upwards, allowing it to be posed in a riding state when combined with the separately sold "Fuunsaiki."
