The popular assembly model Shokugan series "SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT", released by BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced its latest product from "Brave Police J-Decker", "Max", slated for release in Winter 2024, along with detailed product information.
Known as the "White Car Detective," Max is a Brave Robot whose design is based on American motorcycle police officers. Due to his solitary and arrogant nature, he was transferred from the highway patrol to join the Brave Police. While Max's main body cannot transform or combine with other units, he possesses a dedicated motorcycle as a vehicle. This not only grants him exceptional ground pursuit capabilities, but the motorcycle can also combine with Max to form "Armored Max" or transform into the "Max Cannon" for Fire J-Decker to equip.
The "SMP Brave Police Max" kit includes Max's main body and his beloved motorcycle. Max's main body boasts both a cool design and excellent articulation, allowing him to wield a revolver, shotgun, and police notebook for dynamic combat poses, and he can also ride his motorcycle to recreate natural riding postures.
This time, the parts composition for Max and his motorcycle features a special design. Utilizing SMP's original combination system, Max and the motorcycle parts can be disassembled and reassembled into "Armored Max," thereby achieving both overall aesthetics and a wide range of articulation. This allows for the recreation of his signature pose upon completion of the combination, and a larger shotgun part is also included to match Armored Max's physique.
The enhanced weapon "Max Cannon," formed by the motorcycle's transformation, is recreated separately with dedicated parts and can be equipped by the separately sold "J-Decker" and "Fire J-Decker." However, SMP has, of course, also prepared a transformation and combination mechanism for it, though it will differ significantly from the in-show setting where Max is stored within the vehicle, resulting in an amusing appearance where various Max parts are attached to the rear of the vehicle in peculiar poses.
