Issued by BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan business division of Bandai Co., Ltd. Japan, the 'SHODO SUPER' series, which condenses excellent sculpting, articulation, and paintwork into a palm-sized 10 cm figure, has announced the latest Super Sentai series product, 'Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Vol. 2', scheduled for release in March 2025.
A popular Super Sentai series aired in 2013, 'Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger' is a classic Sentai work that combines elements of dinosaurs and batteries. The story describes how in ancient times, Earth was invaded by the Deboth Army from outer space. The dinosaurs that fought against them were annihilated, but the wise god Torin selected some dinosaurs and granted them mechanical bodies, becoming "Zyudenryu". They successfully counterattacked the Deboth Army and sealed away their leader. One hundred million years later, in the modern era, the Deboth Army's subordinates appear one by one to revive their leader, attempting to exterminate humanity and conquer Earth. The wise god Torin once again selected ten humans to form the strongest heroes, "Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger", who fight alongside the ten Zyudenryu, utilizing the "Zyudenchi" that house the agile spirits of dinosaurs.
'Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Vol. 2' includes the three additional warriors: "Thunder Brave" Kyoryu Gold, "Ocean Brave" Kyoryu Violet, and "Flash Brave" Kyoryu Silver. Their distinctive colors and armor designs are faithfully reproduced with intricate sculpting, color application, and some stickers, while flexible articulation is designed into their 10 cm tall bodies.
Weapon accessories include the Gaburevolver and Zandar Thunder used by Kyoryu Gold, the Gaburicalibur and Gaburicannon used by Kyoryu Violet, and the Giga Gaburevolver used by Kyoryu Silver. These can be combined with various interchangeable hand parts to recreate battle scenes.
Additionally, the accessories include replacement parts for "Kyoryu Red Carnival Mode" from the third installment, comprising four Zyudenryu armaments: Parasagun, Stegochi, Zakutor, and Dricera. These can be swapped to recreate the "Samba Carnival" and "Western Carnival" forms.
