BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest Super Sentai series product, 'Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Vol. 3,' from its 'SHODO SUPER' series, which condenses excellent sculpting, articulation, and paintwork into a palm-sized 10 cm figure. It is scheduled for release in May 2025.
A popular Super Sentai series that aired in 2013, 'Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger' is a classic Sentai work that combines elements of dinosaurs and batteries. The story describes how in ancient times, Earth was invaded by the Deboth Army from outer space. The dinosaurs that fought against them were wiped out, but the wise god Torin selected some dinosaurs and granted them mechanical bodies, becoming 'Zyudenryu.' They successfully counterattacked the Deboth Army and sealed away their leader. One hundred million years later, in the modern era, the Deboth Army's subordinates appear one by one to revive their leader, attempting to exterminate humanity and conquer Earth. The wise god Torin once again selects ten humans to form the strongest heroes, 'Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger,' who fight alongside the ten Zyudenryu using the 'Zyudenchi' that house the dinosaurs' agility.
This latest release, 'Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Vol. 3,' includes 'Steel Brave' Kyoryu Blue and 'Clashing Brave' Kyoryu Gray, completing the assembly of the ten strongest heroes. Additionally, Kyoryu Red's enhanced form, 'Kyoryu Red Carnival Mode,' and his dedicated transformation gun, 'Gabutyra de Carnival,' are also sculpted with new parts. These can be combined with the dedicated interchangeable parts included in Vol. 2 and Vol. 3 to recreate various forms.
In addition to multiple interchangeable hand parts for the three characters and Kyoryu Red's transformation gun, the accessories also include three types of Zyudenryu armaments: Pteragordon, Ankydon, and Bunpachy. These allow 'Kyoryu Red Carnival Mode' to recreate various forms, such as Kung Fu Carnival, by swapping parts.
