American renowned toy manufacturer Hasbro's Marvel 6-inch action figure series "Marvel Legends" exclusively revealed a new wave of upcoming pre-order items from the "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" series yesterday (05) on the famous American entertainment news website Collider! Following "Spider-Man India / Miles G. Morales (The Prowler)," we are now bringing you the variant versions of three "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" characters that appeared in the previous wave—"Spider-Woman," "Spider-Punk," and "Spider-Man 2099." Each has a suggested retail price of US$24.99 and will be available for pre-order by fans on the Hasbro Pulse official website at 2:00 PM ET on August 08, 2024!
"Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" features a highly distinctive art style and plot arrangement, coupled with the film's original soundtrack produced by renowned American hip-hop music producer Metro Boomin, achieving an excellent balance between commercial success and artistic merit. Among its most astonishing aspects is the transformation of art styles across different universes; the changes in light and color give characters from various universes their own strong characteristics, and the clash of art styles as characters navigate different universes is also incredibly engaging!
This new wave of "Across the Spider-Verse" 6-inch action figures will re-release Spider-Woman, Spider-Punk, and Spider-Man 2099, featuring color schemes inspired by the characters' appearances in different universes, along with new accessories! Spider-Woman's design appears to reference the more vibrant, biased color tones she exhibits in her own richly colored Earth-65 or in Miguel's Earth-928. Her suit has changed from its original pink to a pinkish-purple, her hair has become a contrasting purplish-blue, and her skin appears more rosy. For accessories, Miguel's AI assistant Lyla has been added, which can be paired with multiple Spider-People figures from across the Spider-Verse for play.
Spider-Punk and Spider-Man 2099 reference the colors reflected by the light and shadow in Miguel's studio in Earth-928. Spider-Punk is presented entirely in pinkish-purple and includes a new, even cooler unmasked afro head sculpt, while also providing a standard colored Hobie head sculpt for the previous wave's Spider-Punk to swap! Spider-Man 2099's suit, on the other hand, uses a deeper blue contrasted with red, creating the visual effect of his suit emitting a red glow in the dark. It also includes an unmasked head sculpt, not featured in the previous version, allowing fans to recreate the scene where he explains the concept of canon to Miles!
