Future GPX Cyber Formula SIN "Variable Action Hi-SPEC ν-Asurada AKF-0/G" Achieves Complete Transformation with Shape Memory Alloy!

MEGAHOUSE, a Japanese toy company, has announced the latest product from its high-spec mechanical action figure series, "Variable Action Hi-SPEC," featuring the "ν-Asurada AKF-0/G" from "Future GPX Cyber Formula SIN." The suggested retail price is 54,780 JPY, with an estimated release in late March 2025.

In "Future GPX Cyber Formula SIN," the "ν-Asurada AKF-0/G," driven by Hayato Kazami, is a racing car designed through a collaborative improvement project between the team and GIO. Equipped with a GIO engine, its racing number was changed to 1, symbolizing a champion. In the series, it engaged in classic battles against the Ogre AN-21.

The "Variable Action Hi-SPEC ν-Asurada AKF-0/G," which finally achieves complete transformation after many years, features transformation mechanism design by Norinori Kuwahara, color design by Takashi Yamaguchi, and full supervision by mechanical animation director Satoshi Shigeta. This collaboration has successfully developed an astonishing masterpiece that transcends limits! Its sophisticated, fighter-jet-like styling, characteristic six wheels, and turbo boosters are faithfully recreated using materials such as ABS and alloy parts. The metallic paint finish gives the vehicle a substantial, weighty feel, while the intricate metal parts and the realistic titanium-burn effect at the end of the boosters are meticulously presented.

Numerous details, including the steering wheel and tires, are designed to be articulated. In addition to deployable mechanisms like the boosters and fans, the front spoiler and side aerodynamic parts can also be retracted, realizing the "black technology" of shape memory alloy that changes its form without mechanical means, as depicted in the original setting! It can completely transform into five modes without part swapping: "Circuit mode," "Aero mode," "Aero boost mode," "Spiral boost mode," and "Lifting turn mode." The specially designed mirrored base allows for recreating the classic scene of the vehicle sliding from an aerial turn onto the racetrack!

Furthermore, the limited bonus for pre-orders on Premium Bandai is a collector's booklet containing an interview with mechanical animation director Satoshi Shigeta and product design materials.
