Following the first volume, second volume, and third volume, the latest fourth volume of the "Chubby Animals (Animal Figure Mascot)" series, a collaboration between Japanese gashapon toy manufacturer Kitan Club (KITAN CLUB) and Taiwan's RBen Studio, finally launched this August!
“Chubby as a ball” and “adorably plump” are perhaps the most fitting descriptions for most of the animal creations by RBen Studio. Animal sculptor "Huang Po-Hsiang" excels at reinterpreting various animals with a two-head body proportion and a round, plump physique, allowing each animal to maintain realistic details while showcasing a humorous charm! Kitan Club's gashapon series strives to preserve RBen Studio's distinctive sculpting features in a palm-sized format, demonstrating an overwhelming presence that surpasses other gashapon toys of similar size.
This latest fourth volume includes the platypus, koala, emperor penguin, and the largest in volume, the orangutan. The figures measure approximately 3.7 to 5 centimeters. Not only are they all incredibly round, as if raised by a doting grandmother, but the fur textures are also exquisitely detailed, making you eager to get one and take it out for outdoor photos – they're just too adorable~~!
