DMM Factory, a figure brand under the Japanese DMM Group, has announced its latest product, the "Creators Collection Figure Hatsune Miku Rosuuri Ver." 1/7 scale figure. The suggested retail price is 33,000 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in May 2025!
The Hatsune Miku world tour concert series "HATSUNE MIKU EXPO" celebrates its tenth anniversary in May 2024. To thank fans worldwide for their support, Crypton and Japan's largest illustration and manga community website "pixiv" collaborated to host the "HATSUNE MIKU EXPO 10th Anniversary Illustration Contest." This figure brings to life the main visual drawn by Rosuuri (@Rosuuri), a popular Filipino illustrator active in North America!
The "Creators Collection Figure Hatsune Miku Rosuuri Ver." 1/7 scale figure recreates Rosuuri's adorable and positively energetic "Konpeito Wishing Star" Miku at an approximate height of 27 cm! The various konpeito candies adorning her body are rendered with clear parts, giving them a translucent texture that makes the colors soft and vibrant, especially the one in Miku's hand, which looks delicious! Her impressive twin tails flow gracefully, exuding a pearlescent sheen, with a striking contrasting pink on the inner side. The voluminous skirt with abundant ruffles, cute ribbons, and other small details are intricately sculpted, and the starry sky motifs on her right hand and left foot are also beautifully executed.
※Due to the complex and time-consuming production process, traditional konpeito is often given as a celebratory gift. The Japanese Imperial Family also bestows "Onshi Konpeito" (Imperial Gift Konpeito) during weddings and births as a prayer for blessings. Therefore, giving konpeito also carries the meaning of sharing good fortune, making it a highly representative auspicious gift in Japan.
