Following the VF-19 Kai Fire Valkyrie, the alloy model series 'HI-METAL R', released by BANDAI SPIRITS' collector's toy division TAMASHII NATIONS in Japan, today announced the latest product from 'Macross 7', the 'VF-19 Kai Fire Valkyrie Sound Booster', scheduled for release in February 2025.
The Sound Booster is a reinforcement equipment mounted on the VF-19 Kai in the latter half of the 'Macross 7' story. Developed based on Dr. Chiba's song energy theory, it consists of a spatiotemporal resonance type song energy oscillation system and a high-output song energy converter. It is capable of thoroughly amplifying and visualizing song energy in the vacuum environment outside the atmosphere, producing immense effects against the biological weapons known as "Protodeviln," which are resistant to conventional weapons and nearly invincible.
The 'HI-METAL R VF-19 Kai Fire Valkyrie Sound Booster' maintains the main unit's design style and proportions, utilizing precise sculpting and rich colors to create the 'Sound Booster' reinforcement equipment. It can be attached to the back of the separately sold 'VF-19 Kai Fire Valkyrie' for display, and also features an unfolding mechanism to reveal the internal oscillation system and converter.
Furthermore, the accessories also include a dedicated stand for the Fire Valkyrie. In addition to the hot-stamped "FIREBOMBER" band name, it also features embossed elements such as Basara Nekki's "electric guitar," making for a very cool design!
