To commemorate the upcoming brand new product exhibition "TAMASHII NATION 2024" confirmed to be held from November 15-17, 2024, BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd.'s collector's toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, today announced the release of the commemorative limited edition product "G-Armor ~Gundam 45th Anniversary~" from the robot-themed action figure series "ROBOT SPIRITS ver. A.N.I.M.E.", scheduled for November 2024.
The G-Mecha, which appeared only in the TV anime series "Mobile Suit Gundam", is a support armament developed to address issues such as the "RX-78-2 Gundam"'s insufficient single-unit mobility and high beam weapon energy consumption. It is primarily composed of two parts, "A-Part" and "B-Part", and can independently form the heavy fighter "G-Fighter" for combat, or combine with the Gundam's separated upper body, Core Fighter, and lower body components to form various other configurations such as the heavy bomber "G-Armor", heavy tank "G-Bull", fighter "G-Falcon", Gundam MA Mode, and more.
The "ROBOT SPIRITS G-Armor ver. A.N.I.M.E. ~Gundam 45th Anniversary~" is a modified version of the regular release from 2017, featuring revised colors and added body markings. It also includes a luxurious array of accessories to commemorate the 45th anniversary of "Mobile Suit Gundam"'s broadcast, such as the "RX-78-2 Gundam ver. A.N.I.M.E." main unit and its armaments, a Core Fighter, a pilot close-up stand, a large display base, a "G-Mecha" development plan background sheet from Project V, and various weapon effect parts.
With this product, you can freely combine the G-Mecha, Gundam, Core Fighter, and some interchangeable parts to form seven different configurations: G-Fighter, G-Armor, G-Bull, G-Bull Light, G-Falcon, G-Falcon Light, and Gundam MA Mode. Coupled with the large display base and various weapon firing, explosion, and propulsion effects, you can create highly immersive battle scenes!
