Japanese company quesQ (Ques Q Co., Ltd.), which has released numerous anime character toy products, will launch a 1/7 scale PVC figure of "Lum" (ラム), the heroine from Rumiko Takahashi's classic work "Urusei Yatsura" (うる星やつら). It is scheduled for release in July 2025, priced at 23,980 JPY.

"Urusei Yatsura" (formerly translated as "Lum the Invader Girl" in Taiwan) is the first long-running serialized work by Japanese manga artist Rumiko Takahashi. It originally began serialization in Shogakukan's "Weekly Shonen Sunday" in 1978, with a total of 34 tankōbon volumes. The anime adaptation was released in 1981, followed by OVA and movie versions. In 2022, to celebrate Shogakukan's 100th anniversary, a remake of the anime was launched, with the first season premiering in October 2022. The story primarily revolves around the heroine Lum and the protagonist Ataru Moroboshi. Lum, a princess from the Oni star, accidentally encounters high school student Ataru Moroboshi during her father's journey to conquer Earth, leading to a misunderstanding about marriage and thus beginning a series of youthful and hilarious daily adventures.
This school uniform version of Lum, released by quesQ, is materialized based on the sailor uniform she wears during her school activities with Ataru Moroboshi. Produced at 1/7 scale, the figure stands approximately 28 cm tall. Even without her familiar leopard-print bikini, Lum still exudes her cute, youthful enthusiasm and shapely, sexy figure. Her long hair flows, her top reveals her midriff due to a jumping pose, and her yellow scarf and pleated skirt sway with her movement. Coupled with Lum's adorable expression, the overall sense of dynamism is very strong. She stands on a mini base designed to resemble a school, as if Lum is soaring freely through the air. It is truly beautiful.
