Sentinel Co., Ltd. of Japan's "Fighting Armor" (ファイティングアーマー) articulated figure series, which reinterprets various Marvel heroes with armored designs, unveiled and pre-sold its upcoming new product – the "Punisher" articulated figure – at the Hong Kong Ani-Com & Games Fair. The suggested retail price is US$109.99, limited to 800 units worldwide, and is expected to be released in Q4 2024!
The "Fighting Armor" series is based on the concept of "What if Tony Stark integrated the abilities of other Avengers into his Iron Man power suit?" To date, it has released fourteen hero characters, including Captain America, Wolverine, and Deadpool. The series is now set to welcome its newest member, the infamous anti-hero from Marvel Comics – the Punisher!
This Fighting Armor Punisher stands approximately 16.5 cm tall and is made of ABS, PVC, and some die-cast parts. The Iron Man power suit is painted in a black and white color scheme, with half of the mask painted white and two dots on the nose to create a skull-like image. The Punisher's iconic skull emblem is printed on the chest. For weaponry, it is equipped with arm-mountable claws, a machine gun, a missile launcher, and a blast cannon. Some weapons can be interchangeably mounted on the arms and shoulders to create various attack modes, just like the Punisher, who is skilled at switching between different weapons, possessing formidable firepower for both close-quarters and long-range attacks!
