Bandai Namco Toys & Hobby, under its popular handheld electronic pet game console "Tamagotchi", has collaborated with Hololive Production's 3rd Generation VTubers, "HOLOLIVE FANTASY", to release the "Hololive Fantasicchi Fantasy Pekora / Fantasy Flare / Fantasy Noel / Fantasy Marine". Each model has a suggested retail price of 7,700 JPY and is scheduled for release in early February 2025!
The classic childhood toy "Tamagotchi" (たまごっち!) is a handheld electronic pet game console (colloquially known as 'electronic chicken' in Taiwan) launched by Japan's BANDAI and WIZ company starting in 1996. Designed as a small, cute egg-shaped electronic toy, it allows players to raise various digital pets, caring for them anytime, anywhere, including feeding, cleaning up waste, and watching them grow.
The "TAMAGOTCHI Color Edition Fantasy Pekora / Fantasy Flare / Fantasy Noel / Fantasy Marine" adopts a mini size of 40mm×30mm×25mm, slightly smaller than the original Tamagotchi. Each design is tailored to the style of the four members, emphasizing exclusive patterns and color schemes. Additionally, there is a "Hololive Fantasicchi hololive 3rd Generation ver." version featuring all four members together, offering a total of five choices. In addition to the Hololive Fantasicchi electronic pet device itself, each set also includes a plush doll for display. The four characters correspond to their respective devices, with each doll measuring approximately 10 cm. They can hold the device in their arms and also function as a ball chain charm~
