The original robot action figure project 'DragonX', a collaboration between Hong Kong toy brand threezero and Shoji Kawamori, the renowned designer behind the "Macross" series, recently unveiled its concept design at "Mecha Expo 2024" held in Osaka. Detailed product information is expected to be announced at a later date.

Currently, the concept design reveals Shoji Kawamori's creation of a cool humanoid mecha, utilizing curves full of biological elements, insect-like multi-jointed reverse-bending legs, and a silhouette reminiscent of samurai armor. The blue line art at the top of the image depicts a winged, four-legged dragon-shaped mecha, with many parts sharing the same design as the humanoid mecha below. It can be inferred that this product will leverage Shoji Kawamori's past experience in designing variable fighters for the "Macross" series, bringing forth a cool transforming robot product with a dragon theme.
