Produced by Japan's PLEX Company and released by X-PLUS Company, the soft vinyl figure series "GIGANTIC SERIES", known for its precise details and colossal size, has announced its latest product from the "Ultraman" series, "Ultraman Leo", slated for release in October 2024.
Ultraman Leo hails from Planet L77 of the Leo constellation and is a warrior skilled in cosmic martial arts. After his home planet was destroyed by the Magma Aliens, he drifted to Earth, transforming into the human "Gen Ohtori" and living an ordinary life. During one attack by the Magma Aliens, Leo transformed in time to rescue the injured Ultraman Seven, who then entrusted him with the mission of defending Earth, leading him to join the Earth Defense Organization "MAC".
Commercialized on its 50th anniversary, the "GIGANTIC SERIES Ultraman Leo" figure is sculpted by master SEKI KENJI, who has previously worked on numerous exquisite Ultraman prototypes. With an imposing height of 49 cm, it faithfully recreates the character's appearance from the show, meticulously detailing the complex curves of the head design and the wrinkles of the full-body leather suit. It even reproduces the "peep holes" inside the eyes that allowed the suit actor to see outside.
Furthermore, the limited edition sold at the X-PLUS official store includes an LED light-up mechanism. When powered on, the forehead, eyes, and chest color timer will illuminate!
