The LEGO building challenge, themed around 1980s popular culture, titled 【If we could turn back time Challenge】, organized by the "LEGO IDEAS" platform under the Danish toy company LEGO, officially announced its final results yesterday (the 14th). Out of a total of 292 entries, the two winning designs that will be officially commercialized are Delusion Brick's "The Goonies" pirate ship Inferno and terauma's "Gremlins" Mogwai (Gizmo).

First up is the colossal pirate ship Inferno. In the 1985 adventure-comedy film "The Goonies," the Inferno was the ship of One-Eyed Willy, containing vast amounts of gold and treasure. Delusion Brick's model boasts an exceptionally high degree of external completeness, with excellent interpretations from the hull structure, cannons, and masts, all the way to the stern decorations. The immense presence of the Inferno and its comprehensive lineup of minifigures are also highly anticipated.

▼ It's worth noting that LEGO previously released "The Goonies" Level Pack, set number 71267, in the LEGO Dimensions series in 2017, which included a mini brick-built model of the Inferno pirate ship. After many years, we can finally see an official LEGO "The Goonies" product again!

Next is the furry protagonist "Mogwai Gizmo" from the 1984 comedy film "Gremlins"! In terauma's initial design, this LEGO Gizmo was constructed from approximately 400 pieces, recreating its iconic large ears and head. The fuzzy visual effect on its legs was achieved by positioning white claw pieces upwards. The layering of the ears is incredibly cute, and curved flesh-colored bar pieces were used to outline the three-dimensional edges. We truly hope that the parts from terauma's original design that allow Gizmo to transform into "Rambo" will also be included!
