The latest product from American toy manufacturer McFarlane Toys' "DC Multiverse" series, the "Batmobile Glow in The Dark" Gold Label vehicle from Batman Forever, is now exclusively available for pre-order on Amazon! Shipping is expected to begin in late October 2024, with a suggested retail price of US$79.99.
In Batman Forever, not only did the actor playing Batman change from Michael Keaton to Val Kilmer, but the Batmobile itself underwent a dramatic transformation. Departing from the sleek lines and imposing power of the Batmobiles in Batman (1989) and Batman Returns, the Batman Forever version of the Batmobile is like a flamboyant youth showcasing a myriad of skills, displaying a highly stylized and ostentatious exterior design. With its rib-like striped body structure, massive bat-wing tail fin, and bat symbols on all four wheels, its wild charm can be appreciated from every angle.
This McFarlane Gold Label Batmobile measures 24 inches (approximately 60.9 cm) in length. Based on the movie's design from Batman Forever, it meticulously recreates the black and silver paint scheme and vehicle sculpt. The biggest highlight, of course, is its glow-in-the-dark effect, emitting a green luminescence in the dark! Furthermore, the cockpit canopy slides open, allowing a Batman action figure to be placed inside for play.
