Following the creation of "Deadpool" and "Lady Deadpool" based on Marvel Studios' latest blockbuster "Deadpool & Wolverine," world-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer HOT TOYS today (8/16) announced the newest Deadpool variant character from the film, the "Kidpool" 1/6th scale collectible figure!
First, let's take stock of how many Deadpool figures HOT TOYS has released so far~ Including the aforementioned "Deadpool" and "Lady Deadpool," as well as "Deadpool's Head," "Deadpool Baby," and "Dogpool" who appeared alongside Deadpool. This time, "Kidpool" marks the sixth variant in the HOT TOYS Deadpool toy universe! The sofa that previously appeared in Lady Deadpool's official images is also confirmed to be included as an accessory for Kidpool this time. To recreate the crazy Deadpool family portrait, this set is truly indispensable.
Based on Kidpool's current product description & official images, this release features a newly sculpted masked head with multiple interchangeable eye parts. The costume meticulously recreates the red and black hoodie and red pants with black knee pads. The sneakers also maintain the consistent red and black color scheme throughout. Overall, the vibrant red might be appealing to elders (though Kidpool's first words would surely send them running home in shock). Accessories include two translucent yellow water guns, two katanas, a backpack for storing the katanas, multiple interchangeable hands, and the crucial tattered gray sofa for the Deadpool family portrait.
