The latest Harry Potter-themed product from Danish LEGO toy company, "76437 The Burrow – Collectors' Edition", which is set to be released on September 4, 2024, was finally fully unveiled recently! The suggested retail price is US$259.99.
Updated on August 23, 2024:
Located in the small village of Ottery St Catchpole in Devon, England, The Burrow is the home of the Weasley family. Not only does it have a unique exterior, but its interior is also quite extraordinary (for Muggles), with all sorts of magic happening. When Harry first visited in the movie, he saw brushes cleaning frying pans, yarn knitting itself automatically, and other magic. The house also features a large table where the whole family can share meals, making it a very warm and cozy place.
This set contains a total of 2405 pieces, and once assembled, it stands 46 cm tall. It uses red, brown, and earthy-toned bricks to recreate the exterior aesthetic of The Burrow, with white and eye-catching teal window frames. The slightly crooked house structure above the main door is also faithfully reproduced. The overall build has a significant presence once completed. What's fantastic is that this house also features an opening mechanism, allowing you to simultaneously enjoy the complete exterior charm and the rich interior details. Although the internal spaces are not large, they perfectly echo the crowded yet cozy nature of The Burrow as depicted in the story. Inside the house, you can also experience magic such as teleporting using Floo Powder, cleaning pots with brushes, and of course, the adorable Weasley Clock that can locate family members.
This set includes a total of 10 minifigures: Harry Potter and 9 members of the Weasley family – Ron, Ginny, Arthur, Molly, Fred, George, Percy, Bill, and Charlie. It also comes with the Weasley family's owl messenger, "Errol," which is really great!
▼ Compared to the previously released "75980 Attack on The Burrow," this set has an increased piece count and updated exterior design, adopting an overall warm and everyday style.
